Wan Aqib

Wan Aqib joined GAA in April 2024 as a Research Analyst, focusing on data-driven insights and market intelligence. He oversees the sourcing, tracking, and analysis of key data and trends, providing clients with actionable insights to support well-informed investment and operational decisions.

Prior to GAA, Wan spent three years in Malaysia’s real estate industry with UEM Sunrise, where he delivered market research, strategic land acquisition analysis, and sustainability initiatives aligned with UNPRI commitments. He also advised senior leadership on corporate strategy and product development.

Wan holds an MSc in Real Estate Economics and Investment Analysis from University College London and a BSc in Urban and Regional Planning with First Class Honours from the University Technology of Malaysia, where he was awarded Best Built Environment Student. He has won national and regional competitions for his urban planning and housing research and continues to combine academic rigour with practical real estate insight.
